421393 2006-01-15 19:42:00 Have dusted off an old Toshiba Satellite 2520 CDT Laptop to run a stand-alone application. However the clock is going slow so guess that means a replacement of the real time clock battery?
What is the procedure for replacing this NiMH battery – i.e. can you do it yourself and if so where is it?! How much are they?
Many thanks

421394 2006-01-16 00:38:00 There are a lot of Toshiba laptops. They have a variety of batteries tucked away inside, as well as the big plug in main battery.

Have a look under the keyboard. Some I have dismantled had a couple of small rechargeables there. Where you would get replacements ... I dion't know. :D
