Download DBXtract (www.oehelp.com), run the program and navigate to the Deleted Items.dbx folder on your hard drive, extract the contents then search for your lost email. The above link takes you to the official program's website and it will cost you $US5.00. There is an older, free, version available from here (www.pcworld.com) if you can't pay, however. |

I think Thunderbird will be the same. Can be done without using any third party program. It needs a bit of delving - let us know if need more help. |

| 421129 | 2006-01-23 03:34:00 | Hi FoxyMX, I had deleted an email for House of Travel electronic tickets and subsequently used DBXtract to recover it along with a lot of others, which I snet to the floppy drive. The only problem seems to be the following and I can't get rid of it: Small window title is Flashget and in the small window it says: A harware I/O error was reported while accessing A:/Shutdown.JCD Now this causes the floppy drive being searched for, if a floppy is not available the little window takes anything from 7 to 19 closures to clear. Any solutions would be appreciated. Lurking. Win98SE IE6 OE6 |
