| 422085 | 2006-01-18 04:06:00 | I had a strange thing happen to another 'puter that I set up with Mozilla and dumped Nortons, adding AVG and some other stuff. We had to re-install some drivers for the three networked printers, although one is not mastered by this unit, but on the same network. At boot, we'd get a script error on line 28, and after clicking that closed, got another telling me that there was another script error on line 107. Here's the question: How does one tell which program has the error? If this is in the boot stage and firing up the startup stuff, where can you go to find the error on those lines? I later found out that there were multiple drivers installed for each printer, and when I deleted them all and re-installed just one driver each, the script errors went away. But...why is this stuff so hard to disassemble? Windows sure sends bad error messages. :waughh: |
