Tools/ internet options/ general tab/temp internet files
delete files/ delete all offline content ; Then = Tools/ internet options/General tab/ settings = change to every visit to the page/apply/ok/ok

tools/internet options/advanced/browsing/reuse windows for launching shortcuts/apply/ok/ok or tools/ internet options/ advanced/ security/ - Uncheck 3 entries at the top of that section of advanced tab/ apply and restart PC. =

If right clicking a link and choosing 'open in new window' does not work , then see = You cannot open a new Internet Explorer window or nothing occurs after you click a link = Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 281679 = support.microsoft.com

421908 2006-01-17 21:29:00 Good link, Sultan_Emerr.

But I'm not so sure about the delete of off-line content and changes to the advanced settings for Internet Explorer.

The "reuse windows for launching shortcuts" is related to non-IE6 programs reuse of windows, if one exists, such as Outlook Express.
