Okay i had a 2 HD computer with windows xp pro and the other with ububtu 5.10 on it and i installed the boot GRUB loader and i had to strip one of my HD's for a friend and now i cannot boot into windows the boot loader is displaying ERROR stage1.5 and it wont boot I need help to disable or unistall it it. i do plan on reinstalling linux ubuntu 5.10 on my system as soon as i get another HD please help! Thank you (I do have experience with computers) |

| 421787 | 2006-01-17 05:11:00 | Get your XP install disk and boot into recovery mode. You then want to run fixmbr to restore the master boot record. This will mean GRUB will be removed from the MBR and will no longer be bootable. Using the Recovery Console to Replace the MBR (www.microsoft.com) |
