| 421643 | 2006-01-16 12:46:00 | Hey guys, this is my first post here. But for now, lets just cut to the chase. I have 2 microphones, one on my webcam and one on my headset; both which I got around Christmas time. The first time I used the headset, it worked fine on my computer and I was able to record stuff. Next time I try using it, I find that my computer, for some odd reason, does not read microphones. When I open the volume thingy (next to the clock on the bottom right of my screen) I find "Volume Control, Wave, SW Synth, CD PLayer, and Microphone. However, the "balance" switch under "Microphone" is grey; meaning I cannot adjust it, while all the other options can be. Could anybody help me resolve this problem? Thanks in advance. |
