| 422855 | 2006-01-20 02:24:00 | Hello everybody, I am having trouble selecting things on the desktop. I can do it well using the CTRL key and clicking everything seperately, but it won't work using the SHIFT key. Instead of highlighting the one thing below it, it highlights everything around it everywhere. On my old computer it did not do this it just highlighted down. Any ideas?? This is what it looks like when I click the first thing I want to highlight (normal) = Normal (www.imagef1.net.nz) and this is what it looks like after holding down the shift key and pressing the down arrow key (evil) = Evil (www.imagef1.net.nz) ~Matt :-) |

Having to press CTRL and click on each file individually is very time consuming if you have a lot of files to select. I havn't thought of just dragging a box around them, I suppose I could just do that though now I'm curious to see if there is a way to get it to work with the shift key. ~Matt :-) |
