1396605 2015-03-17 21:29:00 Looking to buy one, but there are so many to choose from... would like it to be able to charge an average smartphone 2 - 4 times, and have at least a 2amp output.

Anyone use one in particular and really like it? Any to stay away from?

Was looking at something like the following.

1396607 2015-03-18 00:07:00 I've got the cheap Apacer two port one from PB Tech. Only does 1.5A out but it charges my phone about 3-4 times. pcuser42 (130)
1396608 2015-03-18 00:29:00 Is that the one I linked to? What phone do you have and how long does it take to charge? I generally like Apacer stuff... wratterus (105)
1396609 2015-03-18 01:35:00 As an Ingress player, I'm more than happy to call myself a bit of an expert on the subject of battery packs.
The Apacer is pretty good, overall. It'd be my second choice.

#1 choice would hands-down be the MiBanks by Xiaomi. Get them from PBTech also. They are reputable, incredibly good quality, and a good price too.

1396614 2015-03-19 19:13:00 I prefer anker power banks because cheap and unbranded ones usually have poor quality batteries in them Ninjabear (2948)
