| 1396209 | 2015-03-11 19:33:00 | Ok, I had a virus(something like B Pup), and I removed it. Now I keep getting BSoD's. Prior to doing the boot scan and saying delete all the PC was working like a dream. The error which pops up the most is UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP. I've updated ALL of my drivers and I didnt install a new device prior to the BSoD's. I also tried that sfc /scannow, didnt work, i defragged my pc, didnt work and i ran countless antiviris scans, which also got more malware that i got rid of. And Arma 3 magically uninstalled itself. And also can a registry and overall cleanup program work?(must be free) MY SPECS ARE: 8 Gb ram Geforce GTX 760 2Gb I5 4690 @ 3.2 Ghz (stock) Windows 8.1 Please help me, im getting depressed because of this and i have nothing to do anymore |

| 1396210 | 2015-03-11 20:24:00 | That error can also mean hardware related problems. Need more info please -- When you get the BSOD there will be a number, something like STOP: 0x000000?? then a series of brackets with numbers, its the 0x000000?? that's needed. What is the exact error number as that will give some idea as to where the problem is. What would be a help, is the minidump created. You would need to upload it someplace and provide a link to download so it can be examined. Two ways to get it, go to C:\Windows\Minidump or right click the start button, click RUN, type in %Systemroot%/minidump <Press Enter> then copy /upload the latest or a couple of them and post links. Edited: STAY AWAY FROM REG CLEANERS They can cause more trouble than they are worth. It may not be software, best to wait till its found out whats causing it than to go blindly guessing :) |

(edit opps, WT already suggested this) You can use a program like bluescreenveiw to get the error codes out of system/crash logs . www.nirsoft.net Also look in the 'event viewer' (control panel , administrator, event viewer) Look at the times it crashed, there may be useful info in there * dont assume yourt PC is free from malware, it sounds like it may still have some on there. - run malwarebytes & hitman pro across it, and disable any AV while running a malware scan (very important) Some more info here, it may not be of much help msdn.microsoft.com www.reviversoft.com |

| 1396212 | 2015-03-11 20:45:00 | Dont install too many AV programs at the same time. They'll screw each other up and you'll get nowhere I doubt pups would cause that stop error. Upload the dmp files somewhere like onedrive post the link. Then someone can check it out. And yup avoid reg cleaners. You can really screw things up using them |
