1384485 2014-09-20 20:52:00 As above. If you are really unhappy with last nights result join the party of your choice and work on doing something about it in three years. CliveM (6007)
1384486 2014-09-20 21:44:00 Or better still, try and arrange for the next election to come in 20 years. Let the news media go back to men biting dogs. R2x1 (4628)
1384487 2014-09-20 21:47:00 We asked for MMP to be changed but did they listen. No because as usual the gummint had their ears full of sand from being ostrich like gary67 (56)

No one is stopping you or Clive from having a rest, but politics like rust, never sleeps. ;)

Well said that man! Kiwis have proven to be sophisticated in their assessment of the candidates and put the charlatans and those with self-interest as their raison d'etre to flight.

Let's not hear any more whingeing and unproductive name calling for at least the next year or two. Like it or not, we have a party with a huge mandate, the only third term party to have increased its majority, and a PM second only to King Dick as preferred PM.

1384493 2014-09-21 01:32:00 And of course the "Kingmaker" is blaming everyone but himself :) Zippity (58)
1384494 2014-09-21 02:25:00 And now Dotcom has "apologised" for "poisoning the brand". It sounds like crocodile tears from someone so pathologically egotistical that he has to be centre of attention even when things go badly wrong.

The best thing Mr Dotcom can do is change his name back to Schwartz and quietly slip away.
