There are many things the majority has believed in that we now know were wrong. They used to think the earth was flat, that the sun travelled around the earth and that man would never fly. For some reason they also still believe that god exists. And in terms of the election, the majority didn't vote at all, so we can't actually be sure *what* the majority of the country believes in. |

I thought you'd have to better 50% Sounds like selective accounting to me. :D |

Easy -- A good conman can do it without making people realise they are being conned. Nuff Said :D About the only thing I agree with relating to National was in their advertising, the other parties are in a shambles. If there was a strong alternative the results may have been completely reversed. People voted and got what they deserved, so they better NEVER complain about any future actions, its their own doing. |

| 1384435 | 2014-09-21 06:07:00 | Certainly Labour was a shambles. Their main problem these days is that there are no longer any cloth caps, and the mines and the mills have all closed  If they return to roots they will be doomed as an anachronism; if they try to jostle for centre, as they have been doing then they will also be doomed by a superior organisation who own the current centre as of right. Their best bet will be to join the New Zealand First Party and campaign on getting rid of corruption:banana |
