1383962 2014-09-16 03:31:00 B.M, I do agree with you to a very great extent; but one thing I don't understand is, why so many criminals could get away with all these modern technologies? Our police department not doing their job? bk T (215)

If you read BM post you will see the police are as big a criminal as the people they chase

Well in many cases the Police do know who did it, but don’t have the level of proof to make the charges stick in Court.

They could probably obtain the level of proof, but they have to balance the seriousness of the crime against the time it would take and the cost.

As an example, is the crime worth asking all the mobile phone company’s to tip out all their records for a certain cell site, between certain times, in the hope the crim’s had their mobiles on or better still called someone.

Then, having spent untold time and money, some bleeding heart Judge lets them off with a slap over the wrist with a wet bus ticket.

In the end it becomes a balancing act, but I don’t think too much serious crime remains unsolved. ;)

Detroit-based publishers of Eminem's copyrights, are seeking damages for copyright infringement against the New Zealand National Party,"
Joel Martin, speaking on behalf of the publishers, said they were not approached for permission to use any of Eminem's songs for this campaign advertisement.

A bit like getting accountant to do your taxes, the buck stops with you. National being the business party should have had lawyers look at it

1383970 2014-09-16 05:23:00 +1 and you would have to be very naive to think that with all the Government Department data matching and the fact that the police have been quite proud about catching the likes of Paedophiles by tracking their Web browsing habits, that you aren’t being monitored.

Basically......who cares? Unless you are a terrorist or child molester.

1383971 2014-09-16 05:28:00 Apparently this will be the national party's third time is has been accused of infringing copyright material over the years for campaigns. Does the 3 strike rule apply lol plod (107)
