I suggest using Firefox instead, then web pages will actually work. :thumbs: Agreed but I see with the latest version of FF I suspect that it has a Chrome engine in the back end as some stuff at work won't work any longer. Get the same error messages that I get with Chrome and Opera 28. |

| 1396725 | 2015-03-22 01:26:00 | You might like to try Opera It has a feature called Opera Turbo, which uses server-side compression to give you better browsing speeds when you are on slow connections. If you are on dial-up or pay for your internet connection by data usage, Opera Turbo can save you money, too. I also recommend installing adblock+ or adgaurd. Note turbo can cause problems with adobe flash and some other situations but can be turned off easily should you strike problems. x2 Opera Turbo should help on dialup. And definitely use adblocking of some kind! |

I know I have 3g coverage where I am so I assume the smart phone can be used as a hotspot so that I can tether my machine to it and onto the net? What do I need to watch out for. TIA Spooky Your wife would be advised to look at all the different phone plans that are available and consider her data usage options. I know that 2 Degrees have some good deals going, as does Skinny Mobile ( devision of the old Telecom). 2 Degrees do roll over data which is very handy when using the web browsing features that come as standard with iPhones and Samsungs, Nexus's and Moto G phones. |
