They have an amazing army of lawyers to facilitate and protect their long established IP theft industry, all paid for by the sheep queuing at the burglar bars. | R2x1 (4628) | ||
| 1384312 | 2014-09-20 02:26:00 | The Galaxy S5 did sell in great numbers on release, but I don't think they released any figures to make it easy to compare. They did supposedly hit the 10 million mark in 25 days though which is a lot of phones. And who cares, if you want an apple go buy one, it's not a competition. Life is about choice. |

Samsung release shipped numbers, not sold numbers in the past. In July the 6 month old iphones5 was outselling the S5 |

There is a reason that they didn't release any figures for comparison, its all smoke and mirrors to Samsung. Financial markets and accountants care about the sales numbers. It tends to have an effect on share price. |

They must sell the odd one or three or the shops would be bulging with unsold phones and retailers would stop ordering them and Samsung would go broke? Ken |

Ken Well Samsung might not be but a lot of the other big players that produce phones running Android are finding it tough going. Samsung is a huge company that has its fingers in many big pies so it can afford to sell phones at a loss and use the rest of the company to subsidise the loss. |
