1396730 2015-03-18 08:36:00 I have a problem in that when left unattended for some time the desktop keeps opening a window for bing. Seems like a new one every 30 minutes or so. It also opens a new window and goes to a a Spark page about how to use broadband. These all appear when I wake things up. I then have to cancel all these windows.

Thinking that it might be somewhere I went to change the Theme and to kill something. BUT in Control Panel checking "Change a theme" absolutely nothing happens !! Checking "Change desktop background" brings up 'xplorer2_lite.exe" message 'Unspecified error' Twice. Running Windows 8.1. Can't see anything in the Start file or cookies which I can relate to whats happening. Should I be looking elsewhere ???

1396731 2015-03-18 08:47:00 Sounds like Xplorer2 is borked. Uninstall it. See if it's in startup. If its exe is there delete it. If Bing is installed uninstall it

Its not Windows 8 with Bing is it?

1396732 2015-03-18 09:11:00 I can see "xplorer2 - explorer replacement by ZabKat" in the Start-up in task manager. Do I need it ?? What are the consequenses of deleting it.?
Have checkes all the program files and can't see anything related to bing.
