| 423061 | 2006-01-21 21:19:00 | As an avid reader of PC World for some years, I have accumulated the following Privacy and Security software, some freebies and some to which I subscribe. Nortons Systemworks 2005 v.8.03, inc. NAV v.11.0.16.2 and Nortons Utilities v. 18.0.3.11 Mailwasher Pro Counterspy v. 1.0.29 Crapcleaner v. 1.18.101 Zone Alarm Pro v. 6.1.737.000 Spybot S&D v.1.3 Adaware v. 6.0 Win Patrol v. 9.1.0.0 I also run: Mozilla Firefox v. 1.0.7 IE v. 6.0.2900.2180 My PC is a Dell Dimension 4600 Pentium 2 Win XP SP2 I have been having some problems of late accessing some Web sites, and the problem appears to be around cookies. However, with that many Security and Privacy packages on my PC, it has got difficult to resolve some issues. I am calling on the experience of F2 to advise me which of the above to use as a bare minimum, as I am sure that a number of them duplicate requirements. Thanks in anticipation. K.B. |
