2006-01-21 09:51:00 | Hi folks, Anyone put ther familiar with Kodak EasyShare photo software. After getting some digital camera pics put onto a cd at a Kodak shop, the software on the cd seems to have taken over as far as loading all pics I already had, as well as from subsequent cd's, into the EasyShare programme. The main problem I have is that when opening to view pics, I can only see them in thumbnails. When clicking to enlarge to full screen, I only get a blank screen with funtion buttons at the bottom. How can I get my pics to open in full screen? I cannot seem to find any way within the programme to do so. Any suggestions would be appreciated. rny.

They are so confident that they don't even ask if that's what you want. :( Right click on a picture file. Select the "Open With" option and chose Picasa or Irafnview or whatever programme you prefer. Tick the "always use this" box. |

2006-02-05 17:40:00 | when you download the easyshare soft ware there is a setting that usually is un noticed that ops for kodak to be the primary software to view jpg, tiff, and bmp. that is why the software is automatically what tries to view any of those types of format. in the easy share software under tools-preferences-then file assosiation, uncheck those files selected. see if that will keep the easy share program from automatically running when you are trying to view pics out side of kodak software! visit my website (same as my id name) for more kodak info.

2006-02-07 06:58:00 | Thanks printpicsathome for your reply. No longer a problem as I have un-installed the programme. I'll just have to be carefull not to allow it to re-install the next time I load the Kodak disc to view the pics. An added bonus is since I unintalled it, my pc will now recognise my Sony Cybershot and download pics into my prefered organizer, Picassa. This may be entirely unrelated to the uninstall, but as all is well I'm not too bothered as to why. | rny (6943) | |
2006-02-07 08:23:00 | Visit my website (same as my id name) for more kodak info. This runs perilously close to being spam. The site is a US photoprocessor and the "Kodak info" is just a link to Kodak's website. If it weren't for the advice offered....... Cheers Billy 8-{)
