| 422972 | 2006-01-21 06:16:00 | I need to know how to Install a CPU. I am planning on to upgrade my CPU, but i just need some advice on how to do so. I got the Chip and everything, and im ready to install. But the thing is, I am not sure what to do with my computer's settings, after you successfully install the CPU and the heatsink. Its just that Im worred about the voltage and FSB settings, because I figure that I might need to run BIOS and configure the CPU settings and all that, as different Processors run on different voltages and FSBs. Or does the computer configure this automatically? yeah im not too flash on computers. any advive is greatly appreciated. thanks. |
