| 423464 | 2006-01-23 05:16:00 | Go into the BIOS setup. (Often the DEL or one of the F keys gets you into that.) Then just browse ... I don't know what it would be called, but you'll know it if you see it. That's a really old thing ... it was put in because most viruses were "boot sector" ones, propagated on floppies. Leave an infected floppy in the drive, and it would put itself on the boot sector of any disks it found when the computer was next started. |
