423171 2006-01-23 13:48:00 The price may sound tempting, but you are going to get into trouble if the card acts up. Warranty will definitely be an issue. Pay the GST and save yourself from hassle, unless you do have some Chinamen friends here in New Zealand which can help you:) Amoki (9426)
423172 2006-01-23 15:05:00 My parents are in hong kong.Meh.I try not to avoid buying electronics in new zealand as its too expensive over here. Ninjabear (2948)
423173 2006-01-23 15:07:00 Even if warranty doesnt work in nz it doesnt really worries me too much. It takes me so long to earn enough to pay for the electronics in new zealand when i can buy things overseas and yet have money left over to buy food Ninjabear (2948)
423174 2006-01-23 17:15:00 Just wondering what sort of mark up retailers put on computer parts.
I have just bought two sticks of ram , new on Trade Me. $485.
Retail prices here for same part and model etc, between $670 and $750.

Of course now have got to worry about "will it arrive"? "What if they are faulty?"

But I suppose a couple of hundreed saved is worth the worry.

423178 2006-01-23 20:45:00 True, that's because of the cost of getting the card to New Zealand And our crazy GST.

(Im from Malaysia, so tell me about it!)
