| 423488 | 2006-01-23 05:05:00 | Hi, We bought these (www.noelleeming.co.nz) games for the kids at christmas and seem to be having a few dramas with them. After I installed the sponge bob game and gave it to the kids to play the mouse kept "drifting" into the bottom left hand corner, has anyone had this problem before or have any idea what it may be? I am fairly sure I have the latest direct x installed and am running winxp home. would appreciate some ideas on this Cheers Mike |

The sensors tend to induce a cursor "creep" if they cannot accurately detect what they sit on. One desk here has a leather inlaid top, the mouse is very erratic and "creeps" if left unmoved on it, but is fine on a mousemat. |

You might not notice it for normal usage, but the problem will become apparent when you play computer programmes that are very demanding on mouse usage. :D Try your mouse on a rough cardboard when playing the game, or even on a piece of old-newspaper (about 3 weeks old, which should have no undried ink) . See whether that'll solve the problem. Otherwise switch to a PS2 mouse :) |
