| 423449 | 2006-01-23 03:10:00 | I have been using Quicken V7.0 (1998) on a PC and trying to instal Money 2005. Money tries to convert Quicken files, reports that this is not possible, which I expected, but I cannot proceed any further than this. Clicking finish merely returns me to the beginning of the conversion page. Help would be appreciated. :help: |

You could try using a trial version of quicken to bring your original file more up to date. I suspect the older quicken format may have confused the money program (not that it would be hard to do so...) |

Money says to open a second account only if you want to track for example a seperate business enterprise. This worked fine and all seems to be operating normally. Thanks for initial reply, its comforting to know that I should have bought Quicken!!! | clarkec (9671) | ||
