| 423572 | 2006-01-23 16:10:00 | I might have done this to myself when I dnldd a RAM test to a floppy after storing the . zip on my Iomega Zipper . I used the RAM test, and popped out the Zip disc, the floppy which the test required to boot to the test, and now every time I cold boot (like in the morning) I get a box informing me that "There is no disk in the drive . . . " etc . It never signifies WHICH drive it is, but I suspect it might be the Iomega . Is there any way to remove this warning? |

| 423573 | 2006-01-23 19:03:00 | Is this on boot or after it loads to Windows? If on boot, go into the BIOS and set first boot device back to hard drive. | pctek (84) | ||
| 423574 | 2006-01-23 20:24:00 | Not in the BIOS . . this just happened when I downloaded that RAM test and put it onto the flop . . . ever since then I think it's looking for the program . . . maybe? There must be a pointer . . . maybe the prefetch? |

That Palm stuff is for my Sony Clie . . it is a new opsys that I have to install yet and it is sitting in the HotSynch area of the Palm Desktop waiting to be used, that's all . Yes, I have restricted IE all to hell and I would like to keep it locked down as for the next few weeks I am going to try to give my wife a hands-on with this 'puter . THAT I may regret . I went into msconfig again (do I have something new from the PowerToys that I got?) and msconfig still reports that there's a WIN . INI called "annie" still there running . This has me wondering now . . what is it? |
