Maybe those types (above) should save a file of these sounds so they can be played to get a better diagnostic of the noise complaints that come here every once in a while. Hi SurferJoe Just to get back on topic - probably about two years ago PC World had on their free disc a set of what the different sounds you might hear if your hard drive had problems.
