424159 2006-01-25 07:06:00 I was recently sent some photos in jpf format, maybe in error i don't know. I hear that these will one day replace jpgs as they are not lossless. Does anyone know of a free viewer or application to view these? Many thanks for your help. :help: Newteach (4990)

424161 2006-01-25 08:01:00 For immediate view, you can use Microsoft Paint to open up the JPEGs. Otherwise, take some time to download and install what snoopy had mentioned.

Cheers :)

424164 2006-01-25 22:16:00 Hmm it looks like Paintshop Pro X supports JP2 / JPeg 2000 files.

BUT it doesnt list .jpfs specifically in its file associations.

BUT, this isn't free.

424166 2006-01-25 23:07:00 Yup it is genuine (www.jpeg.org)

Another word for it is Jpeg 2000
