424862 2006-01-28 04:17:00 Oh great F1 Wize Ones I need your help.
Facts:
Windows XP home, Outlook Express v6, 1026 listings in the addresses
the Contacts list is blank.
Why aren't the addresses listed? Where have they gone & how can I get them back?
Last thing done in the Addresses was create 5 groups and copies all the addresses into their respective groups A-H, I-M....

424863 2006-01-28 04:26:00 If you click on main identity + sign does that help? Cicero (40)
424864 2006-01-28 04:37:00 I assume you mean the + sign in the address book.
The address book shows all of the 1026 e-mail addresses.
The problem is in the main screen of Outlook Express, bottom left corner where the Contacts List is located: it is blank???

Thought I would have a go.
I went to view..layout..clicked on customise toolbar, selected contacts,to appear on my toolbar, then ticked cotacts in windows layout properties,my list appeared on the left of windows.
If you have all that as I have, then I am stumped.
Safari will fix if you can wait.

424868 2006-01-28 05:41:00 OE will not show any address book contacts in the Contacts pane if its address book contains more than 999 entries. Safari (3993)
424869 2006-01-28 05:50:00 Safari,
Thank you, I had a feeling it had to do with the number of contacts.
Is there anyway around this?

Yes, reduce the number of entries.
Surely you can remove 27 out of the 1026
