Currently we have XTra but might change after our contract runs out, so we don't want to buy a router and then find out in a couple of months time that it doesn't work. Also does the internet for cable come through your original phone points or somewhere else. Thanks |

We have TCL cable broadband installed, for which they use specific TCL cabling into your property (the same as if you have Saturn TV). It doesn't go anywhere near the phone lines. If you're talking about ADSL, this uses your existing phone lines. We have a Dlink wireless router setup with no problems sharing between 1 x Mac, 1 x iBook and 1 x notebook. Never had any issues with it. |
