| 424426 | 2006-01-26 22:21:00 | At least the email doesn't contain a virus.... Does this happen to all of them or just one or two? Maybe the sender used a white font? Use CTRL+A to see if this is the case. Could the email just have had an attachment and no message? Perhaps the message was a virus and AVG stripped it out to protect you? |

| 424428 | 2006-01-26 23:23:00 | Strange... Create a new folder in Outlook Express and move all emails from your Inbox to that new folder. Now do a search on your hard drive for Inbox.dbx and delete it. See if you can then receive emails properly. |

| 424433 | 2006-01-27 03:57:00 | Got a wee tip for you Cic, for moments like these. ;) Go into Outlook Express > Tools > Accounts > click on your email account > Properties > Advanced and put a tick in "Leave a copy of messages on server" and "Remove from server". Change the number of days to 2 or whatever you fancy then click OK. Next time your emails go a-wandering you then have the option of going into your ISP's account Webmail online using your browser and reading them from there. You can also forward your emails on to yourself in order to download them into OE. |
