424285 2006-01-26 01:56:00 Can anyone help me with this Blue Screen Error?

stop: 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0x8057D9FB, 0x93E91994, 0x93E91690)

I'm running Win XP. I've gotten two Blue screen errors in the last 24 hours but the first one i didn't write down so i'm not sure if it was the same as this one.

thx,
Wayne

424287 2006-01-26 02:08:00 What have u installed lately, in the way of hardware/software?

Is SP1/2 installed??

And what were u doing at the time it crashed? playing a game? Browsing the net?

Right mouse on My computer on the desktop / properties / advanced tab.
Startup and recovery / settings. Untick automatically restart. Then OK.

Tell us what it says next time it crashes.

424288 2006-01-26 05:11:00 yes SP1 and SP2 installed.

I was watching tv and looked over and there was a blue screen error on the computer. I wasn't doing anything at the time.

OK, i untucked the auto restart.

I've installed and/or re-installed a few things. I guess i'll see if i happens again.

thx,
Wayne

424290 2006-01-30 14:39:00 System specs please.

Make sure your computer is clean of virus and spyware.

Google is telling me it may be a problem with a Creative Audio product(your sound card).

Well it does not answer back anyway. Just gives me answers to questions. All I have to do is pick the right one. :-)

Goes off to refine search.

Possibly text to speech will work here.

Yup it looks like this file belongs to the creative drivers. Some file belonging to it, maybe damaged or corrupt. Try downloading the newest version of these drivers for the soundcard, and reinstall them.

If reinstalling the drivers doesnt work get hijackthis (www.merijn.org) from here (www.spywareinfo.com)

Unzip this file, then scan and copy and paste the log here.

Or here (www.hijackthis.de) if u know how to read hjt logs.
