| 424638 | 2006-01-28 01:41:00 | Hey Joe, I can't remember whether you said your ALT keys work in other programs or not, but could it possibly be your keyboard settings causing your problems? If you have keyboard drivers installed for shortcut keys to do fancy schmancy tricks then that could be what is causing your grief . It's gotta be something like that as WE don't have any problems . :cool: The ALT works everywhere but here . . . even if I compose the stuff I want to write on Wordpad using the ALT+ stuff, when I paste it here, it all falls apart . |

| 424639 | 2006-01-28 01:44:00 | It's quite simple. The character codes are all symmetrical so that it doesn't matter that you are sending them upside down. But the codes generated by ALT/ collapse horribly as they cross the equator. That's what comes of living where you do. Nothing can be done. | Graham L (2) | ||
