| 424589 | 2006-01-27 00:14:00 | Hi I bought andd tried to install call of duty 2 but the my dvd drive just wont look at it speeds up like its trying to read the disk and then slows down again....i have updated the drivers and all my other games and dvds play fine from googling it i think it might be to do with copy protection but couldnt find a suitable resolution Please help!!!! |

| 424590 | 2006-01-27 01:04:00 | Doesn't sound like protection working its magic at all. Protection error doesn't allow you to run the programme, but you should be able to read from the CD. What DVD Drive do you have? Where did you get your game from? You might want to consider taking the DVD to your vendor (unless you get it off Trademe - if that's the case you are completely at the mercy of the seller) and ask them to test the DVD to see whether it's defective. | Amoki (9426) | ||
| 424591 | 2006-01-27 02:11:00 | Try some suggestions here (activision.custhelp.com) Select PC Game, Call of Duty 2 and search for CD or install. Try dropping the reading speed of the drive ... give the disc a good clean. |
