| 425458 | 2006-01-30 09:30:00 | Hello, I have a lot of very small home videos taken over the last five years in avi format of my family, holidays etc and have just started to save them onto DVD, having purchased a dvd writer with Nero 6.6. However all my videos when I view them (using Windows Media Player 9 have suddenly acquired a title at the top saying PicVideo and the bottom saying www.jpg.com. I have no idea how they got there but I don't want them and they are ruining my archives and treasured family records. They do not appear on new mpeg4 videos that play through Quicktime. Does any one know how they may have got there and more importantly how I can remove them from my videos. I presume it is the result of some codec I have installed with the burning software unless I somehow got a trojan or virus. I am going to the website to contact them about it but it's very annoying and intrusive. I am not usually so stupid when it comes to hijacking programs but I'm lost as to how this happened. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Martin |
