425422 2006-01-30 07:15:00 just recently if i burn a disc of mp3's to wav on nero they have now started skipping some tracks fine some tracks will last a few seconds as they skip so badly i have two drives all discs burnt at different speeds but alas same problems but some tracks just wont play properly whats up sully1969 (9713)
425423 2006-01-30 09:31:00 Are they skipping when played on the computer, or when played on a regular CD player (e.g. stereo set)? Your post is unclear on this.

It's not uncommon to get skipping on stand-alone CD players, they can be quite fussy as to media type, and as the lasers wear out with age they get less tolerant. I have one that no longer plays recorded CDs at all, and skips on most originals. Its due for the rubbish heap.
