| 425339 | 2006-01-30 05:59:00 | any pc that has bios update from windows could be an easy target. a lot of other bios's have built in protection. on my own you have to turn of the protection and you have to hit a key to continue when its in that state. but as companys make complex things o so user friendly sicurity often goes out the window. |

| 425340 | 2006-01-30 07:52:00 | I always thought being able to fiddle with low level settings/firmware from within windows was stupid, come to think of it, I don't even like switch/jumperless boards, or at least the option . I just feel that there is something inherently more solid about killing something by shorting connectors than attempting to do it with software . |
