425116 2006-01-29 07:11:00 I have tried Opera (from PC World CD) - After a while when ever I click on a link nothing happens (apart from getting blank pages). The way around this is to loose everything by closing Opera and opening it back up or even reverting to Internet Explorer. JaceKiwi (2561)
425117 2006-01-29 07:18:00 And what version of Opera was on the cd?? 8.51? Speedy Gonzales (78)

425121 2006-01-30 21:25:00 Try posting at the Opera forums (my.opera.com). I did a quick search but didn't find anything specific but I don't know how your set up. Stick with it though. Once start customising especially with userjs, skins and buttons you'll never go back. joshjnz (7844)

425123 2006-01-31 19:35:00 Yes - totally random. Firewall is Zone Alarm. JaceKiwi (2561)
425124 2006-01-31 22:13:00 This is very odd behaviour for Opera .

All I can suggest is that you give your system a good going over with the usual anti-virus and spyware detectors (see this thread ( . pressf1 . co . nz/faq . php?faq=pressf1_faqs_security#faq_pressf1_faq_" target="_blank">www . pressf1 . co . nz 16)) and if nothing shows up I would try uninstalling Opera completely (remember to remove all the folders in Program Files and Documents and Settings) and installing a fresh download from . opera . com/download/ . " target="_blank">www . opera . com

Let us know how you get on .

425125 2006-01-31 22:28:00 what are the specs of the pc?

the only thing i can think of is sometimes if your running a large cache on a slow pc (or a very busy pc) it can do a few werid things like that.
