| 426261 | 2006-02-02 01:30:00 | You cant expect to only have it for one day and be upto speed, You will have to learn the basic tools and their use first, Hover the mouse over em, read the descritpion, try them on a pic, then consult the extensive help files. Presuming they haven't been ripped out of your version. Most tutorials on the net presume a basic level of competence. |

Thanks :) You need to explain what you are trying to do a bit better. Do you mean you are trying to paste different images into the one document? PS has decent enough online help (as in from within the program). You need to read up on "layers" I'd say. |

| 426264 | 2006-02-02 02:47:00 | What I am trying to do is create desktop wallpapers using multiple images by overlapping them and adding effects, that is the best I can describe it. Although I have just been able to insert 2 pics into the one by layering them, but the top one had to have a opacity of 50% and this makes the images faded, so I adjusted the contrast and that got it working :) Now to figure out the effects, more fun there :rolleyes: |

| 426265 | 2006-02-02 07:03:00 | From what I gather, you're trying to create a collage. Type that into the search function in the programme's Help. But it's quite easy anyway (if I understand you): simply create a new image, then open any other images, and copy and paste them into the new image. Lemon Squeezy. |

What you need to do is to cut it out of the background. To do this, a common tool to use is the "Magnetic Lasso", or to do a rough cutout using the "Lasso" tool and then use the eraser to touch up any bits you've missed. |
