| 425869 | 2006-01-31 21:27:00 | I've just installed an old HP 5M laser printer in XP Pro SP1. Setup went without a hitch using XP's built-in drivers, and all's going well. But when I go to change preferences via Start/Settings/Printers and Faxes I find there's two printers there... one is HP LaserJet 5/5M Postscript and the other is HP LaserJet 5M. Why would this be, and which one do I use to go into Preferences? Thanks. [edit] I've just gone into the Properties for both, and was able to print a test page from each. |
