| 425739 | 2006-01-31 20:30:00 | With the other HDD with the XP install on it, it won't get to Windows. You will get a BSOD - because all the MB drivers etc are different. To be positive you'd have to reinstall again with the other drive. But seeing as the first drive went OK in the other machine I would eliminate HDD as the problem. You could try another piece of RAM and failing that I'd be suspicious of the MB too. What brand MB is it? PC Co was known for putting rubbish in them.... |
