426273 2006-02-02 08:26:00 I got logitech x620 which are 6.1ch. my motherboardcard supports 7.1ch. now the problem is whenever i play any dvd the back 3 speakers dont sound as much the front 3 speakers. the volume is set full, from the master volume/windows.
so how can i make the back speakers sound louder.

426275 2006-02-02 08:34:00 Try <Start><Control Panel><Sounds and Audio Devices><Volume><Advanced>
You should be able to set it up how you like there.

426276 2006-02-02 08:44:00 Are you sure it just isn't the movies themselves?

Quite a few movies I've seen/heard with my 7:1 setup (upscaled from a 5:1 soundcard), do have very quiet spund from back/side speakers until you get some action in the movie involving sound from the back or side (explosions, helicopters, etc).

Other movies, particulary with music tracks make make more use of sound from all speakers.

Well that's my theory ;)

And I believe that theory it is correct. The rear speakers are differential "fill" sound, almost silent on some/many tracks in my experience.

Can you translate that for us? I cannot grasp just what you are wanting here.

Where do you want to "put the cables"?
