| 427270 | 2006-02-05 00:14:00 | i have a celeron 900mhz, 512mb ram 2 hdd (40gb and 20gb) the 40gb has Xp pro on it, the second i want to put 2000 advanced server (i was given wrong version of 2000 but that not an issue) win2000 cd when bootin and istallin insists on floppy disk 2 to be inserted, i made install floppies but i still get message when i put it in and press enter,the only way 2 install is 2 put NT4.0 and upgrade, but NT4.0 can only handle 1gb partiton and then we get all these os boot choices when u start the pc, i just win XP pro and 2000. any ideas? and also in 2000 i cant get the video drivers 4 a nVidia TNT@ m64 32mb card even tho it is on the HCL and i tried the 2000/XP drivers off PCworld but it says cant find device, 16bit color isnt nice | aidanmaz (7180) | ||

| 427273 | 2006-02-05 10:56:00 | 16bit color isnt nice WRONG ........ 16bit colour is FINE 16colouris NOT 16 bit colour is almost indistinguishable from 32bit colour, (the best most video cards output)......16BIT colour is 64,000 colours.........you have 16 colours ...........QUITE different............ WHY do people insist on seeing the word 'bit' in there when it does NOT say it ? |
