| 427322 | 2006-02-04 23:28:00 | I am planing to get some more memory for my computer as well as a new graphic card. How do I know what will work in my computer and what won't? I know a little about computer and have installed things like DVD/CD drives and network cards before. I understand how to figure out the requierments on things like that but when its gets into all kinds of detail like memory and graphics cards do I am lost. Can someone help me out here please. | 427323 | 2006-02-05 00:43:00 | Yiou need to find out what ram is in it now - DDR266? DDR400? And get the same type. As for graphics first check if the motherboard has an AGP slot to take one. If it hasn't end of story. If it has, then just get whatever specced AGP card your budget will allow. |
