427014 2006-02-04 00:52:00 Just set up my wireless router/network and had a quick question. When we just had a standard ethernet modem I pulled the cable out after each session to make sure that we didn't dowload anything extra (so our usage isn't wasted). Now we have a wireless network can I do the same thing; stop any internet data being transmitted or sent out. I tried just turning off the power to the modem and router but then when you turn it back on you have to reconnect to the network, rather than letting it do it automatically?

Thanks in advance

427015 2006-02-04 02:41:00 You could always just remove the phone cable from the modem? If your turning off the router/ap you should be able to just let windows reconnect to the AP when it detects it. Pete O'Neil (6584)
