427777 2006-02-06 19:17:00 Over the last couple of months, I have received notifications that I am close to the one Gig limit on my plan with Xtra.

Is there a way to find the addresses the broadband usage has been derived from during the current month ?

It would be helpful in managing my broadband usage to know what and where the usage occurs.

427779 2006-02-06 19:35:00 Hi Trev

Not exactly. I already use this . Does it have the details of the sites, volume dates etc ?. I only see a summary of the daily usage

Thanks

427780 2006-02-06 21:05:00 The traditional way to do this is analyzing firewall logs, so it comes down to what firewall(s) you're using. kingdragonfly (309)
427781 2006-02-06 22:06:00 I think what you are looking for is Netmeter (www.metal-machine.de).

However, Netmeter will only work on the one machine, so if you have a network that's connected to the net, you will have to install it on all of them.

427782 2006-02-06 23:42:00 Traffice Usage Checker (http://tuc.swaziboy.com/) might be what you are after, it logs into your account and tells you how much you have used, how much you have left, how much you can use per day till you run out and you can set it to update every couple of hours or so. :)

427783 2006-02-06 23:50:00 Haze, help is always appreciated, but could you link to a download page for Netmeter, instead of the actual executable?

A trojan horse can be called anything, so anything that helps verify the file you're about to download is always a good idea.

Of course the best link is the manufacturer's home page.
