WINDVD Recorder initially formats the disc somehow for their purposes . DVD VR files appear on the disc which I can play on the PC but not the DVD Player . Once the Disc is finalized by WINDVD Recorder I can then play on the DVD player . Good stuff! I thoroughly recommend WINDVD Recorder for watching and recording TV . I have tried heaps and this is the best picture quality, timeshifting quality, recording quality . Recording to HDD was always a doddle but now I can also record straight to DVD if I want which is very convenient! Second best TV software is also Intervideo - WINDVR 3 . Just without the DVD recording option, but loads faster and everything else is just as good . |

And it has all the features you need. And it lets me record from the onboard FM tuner as well. An easier way to record my own MP3's. |
