| 427644 | 2006-02-07 06:05:00 | Try This, Download the PCI Latency tool from downloads.guru3d.com 2. Open it up and look at your settings for your GFX card (VGA Compatible Controller) .... Mine were at 248 .... But other GFX cards could be different .... 255 maybe ?? Its in the 200's anyway !! 3. Now right click and change this to 64 .... and change your Soundcard Latency to 64 and your PCI Bridge (AGP) to 64 .... This is what ive done and its helped a lot and stopped hangs :-D 4. Now apply the settings and save .... and check the "Apply On Start Up" box under the Settings drop down!! 5. Make shure its all applied and the numbers have all changed to 64 then exit the program .... and try your game |

Check your AGP aperture size in BIOS & also Fast Writes, Aperture should be 1/2 ram size and turn fast writes off. Also check that AF & AA are turned OFF on the driver, not app controlled |
