427623 2006-02-06 07:08:00 This is myfirst time to use PressF1. So I may not know how to enter a query. But here goes.

Some time back (six, twelve, eighteen months) PCWord ran an article on sophisticated ways for searching for material on Google. Though I have all the back numbers, I cannot find the article. Can some kind soul give me the reference.

427624 2006-02-06 07:20:00 Hmmm, seem to remember that too, was it a Geoff Palmer article?? Try serching his, or other, writers article archives (pcworld.co.nz).

BTW, welcome to PF1.

427626 2006-02-06 07:50:00 S.U., I believe the article referred to using boolean expressions in the search terms, which elicited information from some surprising sources. Murray P (44)

427630 2006-02-06 08:15:00 Yes, that boolean reference rings a bell.
But as a beginner on PressF1, I could not get a listing of any Geoff Palmer articles prior to the last twelve months
