| 428926 | 2006-02-09 21:33:00 | Hope someone can help here, my client has an HP printer and a Mustek 1200 Bearpaw scanner, used to be both fine but now when they scan a document to the printer it prints ok but with the whole page filled with light blue background. I have reinstalled both devices with no difference. It's almost as thos the scanner light has chnaged or something. Any help appreciated as I am stuck on this one. |

It is only when using the copy to scanner option, or scanning to printer which ever way you want to put it. also nothing to do with ink as he used to use refills but since replaced with new HP ones. Have never come across this before, the only thing I can maybe think of is a communication error (hardware) between the printer and scanner. The printer uses parallel and the scanner Usb so they are not daisy chained. Thanks for replying |
