428792 2006-02-09 07:24:00 i'm having trouble palying sum dvds in my pc bcoz for sum reason they stall while playin n i hear scattered sound coming from my speakers. i've chkd thru task manager cpu usage is arnd 18% n memory usage is ok bt the player is always frozen - i use mainly power dvd but it messes up for everythin. this has happened for several dics on both my dvd roms (gt 2!!!)

specs - 2.45ghz p4, 512ram, 64mb video(shared) res 1024x768 , soundmax audio, sis graphics(built in) winxp pro service pak 1

is the video ok?

do avi or mpeg video play ok?

what codecs or codec packs do you have installed?

check the dvd drives are not set to pio mode (device manger under ide controllers).
check for updated sound card drivers.

TRY to use decent english rather than baby talk, its really hard to understand what your trying to say.

Video ok

avi & mpeg playback fine

codecs installed - evrythin dat comes with realplayer, windows media player, quicktime,divx player n power dvd, jet audio (does everythin of the pplayers mentioned)

one dvd rom is set for pio the other dma

sound card has latest version

428797 2006-02-09 20:12:00 I would fix the PIO problem.

And find out why, one of the DVD's are in PIO mode.
