| 428524 | 2006-02-08 16:03:00 | I have a question Im thinking of joining ihug 2mbps plan My friend left a modem with me an ADsl one which he joined with xtra.He left NZ now and won't be coming back and he gave the modem for me for future use. It's DSL-502T How does Ihug and other Isp connect you to the internet? How does the process work? Can I use the modem which my friend gave me? Is setting the modem up just like setting up dial up networking connection? Is it more complicated? What do they do actually when they come over and set it up? What needs to be done with the computer? Do you have the modem that they give when you join them or can anyone that has an adsl modem can use it? Thanks for the help |

Call iHugs helpdesk, they're not _too_ bad and have been getting better on the tech side. They should be able to walk you through setting it up without a problem. I love their plans, bl00dy marvelous :) |
