429103 2006-02-10 09:56:00 I tried downloading this last night, got 4.1 gig or 99% of it & it refused to save. Didn't use a download manager. Any ideas on how to complete the download?

429104 2006-02-12 03:19:00 Hi Phil,

If you are still interested in trying, I would suggest that you download the latest Firefox. (www.mozilla.com) After you have downloaded that move the partial iso image to a different folder and then start to download the iso image again using the firefox download manager.

Once the download has started pause it and then replace the new download file with the almost complete iso. Once you have done that you can resume the download.

Either way, make sure you check the md5sum's of the ISO to ensure the file matches the official md5sum (should be listed on the server where you got the ISO from). Checking the md5sum ensures the file hasn't been corrupted or tampered with.

Also, I really don't want to break this news to you, but you do realise what you have downloaded isn't the bootable installation version of SuSE? The SRC part indicates you have download the ISO of the source files belonging to all the packages on the SuSE 10.0 DVD. You cannot use this DVD to install SuSE with. If you are wanting to install SuSE, then you need this one SUSE-10.0-EvalDVD-i386-GM.iso, which is an evaluation version. Not sure what the terms are with the evalution, check out the SuSE site for more details.

You can see the various ISOs available here:
